The school was started by Nsereko Stephen, Sebuliba James, Biyinzika Emmanuel, the guardians to Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC’s) and Ruth Katende Who offered the school 3 acres of land for establishment of the school.
They decided to open up the school to cater for the growing number of orphans and vulnerable children in Iganga and other parts of Uganda. Iganga like other parts of Uganda has been hit by HIV/AIDS scourge there by leaving many children of school going age without any body taking care of them.
To give quality education to our children now that there are few government schools giving quality education in villages like Nampirika Kigulu Iganga.
The school started with a total of 150 children both vulnerable and orphans, and eight teachers from Nursery to primary five level.
As we write now the school has 300 pupils, 10 teachers running from nursery to primary seven and 2 non teaching staff.
